Back in 1963 HO Slot Racing was starting to become serious business.  This Ford-Aurora Grand National Contest and with a $5,000 Ford Thunderbird and a $2,000 Scholarship going to the winner.   Stirling Moss called the race and was Grand Marshall of the national event.
