This is a  37 Gauge "Green Wire"  Balanced High Output armature for Mega G, Tyco, Wizzard, DeCosmo, and Slottech HO Slot cars.  This armature is for racing in the Modified class or just making your slotcar run a lot faster, and rev higher.  It has a lathe trued commutator, and has been Dynamically balanced.   If you want to go fast and can't seem to find enough horsepower to get to the front of the pack, then this is the high revving - front running arm that you are looking for.   This armature reads from 2.7 to 2.9 Ohms (depending on temperature).  Works great with almost any power supply and on home, club, and commercial tracks.  Really runs well on 1 full amp or more.

A brand new Parma Econo controller is an excellent replacement for the stock controller that comes with Tomy, Tyco, Mattel, AFX, Life-like, and most other HO Racesets.   They are available in 15, 25, 35, 45, 60, and 90 OHM configurations.  The 45 OHM model is probably the most popular for home tracks.

Controller Recommendations:

60 to 90-ohms - Suggested for T-Jets on any type of layout.
45-ohms - Suggested for Stock Tyco/Tomy/Life-Like cars on small twisty layouts.
25 to 35-ohms - For Stock or Modified cars on large, fast layouts.
15 to 25-ohms - For Modified/Polymer cars on fast layouts.
4 to 15-ohms - For Neo/Unlimited cars with high-strength magnets on layouts with plenty of power.
